Welcome to Lookout Blinds & Shutters, we are a local family business based in Conway, SC. We take time with our clients with personal in home consultations. Our design process is always tailored to your specific window treatment needs. we have been in business since 2008 and we carry an A+ rating with the local BBB. We are conveniently located off Hwy 501 in Conway.
Our service area extends from coastal Brunswick County in NC to Pawleys Island, SC and west to Conway and Florence, SC. We are locally owned and managed and only use employee installers, no subcontractors. The window treatments we carry are of the highest quality and the plantation shutters are manufactured in High Point, NC.

Greg & his crew are awesome! We had no idea what to put on the side windows of our door & he came to the house with lots of ideas. He also gave us great options for our upper window to help block out the afternoon sun which blasted through our upper window.They ordered the perfect blinds for both the upper & side door windows. Lookout Blinds handled several projects in our new home. Roman shades, specialty drapery rods and morotorized screens on our back porch. Michele met me at my new home to discuss Window treatments. She measured all 11 windows and 2 doors. We discussed options and she gave me an estimate. I decided to go with Lookout immediately. We were looking for shades for our home for a while without luck. We saw Lookout Blinds online, we went to their showroom and the owner Greg was very helpful, he showed us many styles and color options. We picked out the ones we liked, Greg came out measured all the windows, ordered the shades then installed them. He sent texts regarding appointment times which he was always right on time. Michelle and Greg were great and easy to work with, my issue is not with them or their service. I ordered a 1% filter shade which allegedly allows 1% of light into the room. Not the case. I now have more light streaming into my room than with the $20.00 blinds I had up. So after spending over $600.00 on a shade, I just spent another $200.00 on black-out curtains. I would suggest total black-out shades if you expect very little light to come in through your window. Otherwise it's a 7am wake-up call and for someone who works nights, it's not a welcome one.

We moved to Conway SC to a brand new home and wanted to do it right, we found Lookout Blinds and went to check out what we were looking for , we had a idea in mind. Roger greeted us and showed us displays and explained the products. He then set us up with Michelle who also was very informative and walked us through the whole thing . They did 2 measurements and gave us an est. we made the decision to go with them . Window shutter's , shades and an outside awning . The installers we professional and polite and informative. We had the privilege of the owner installing the awning with another gentleman on a Saturday morning because it had a delay of coming in because of supply chain. Over all 5 star service , from beginning to end they kept us informed and they did a great job on the installation . I do not usually write reviews but had to on this company and it's people . We love, love, love our panel blinds. OMGOSH they look so nice and Kevin was amazing installing them. They had a small space to work and a big cornice to work with. They were professional and courteous, and had them in on a timely manner. Greg was great when he came out to measure and bring us samples to chose from. I would definitely do business with them as well. A lot of choices to pick from and I am very glad we picked them to do our condo sliding glass doors as well as bedroom windows. After searching unsuccessfully for what we felt was not only a business with a product we liked but one we felt was dependable, we fell in Greg’s lap. It was the very end of the day but he was extremely patient as we decided on the blinds we wanted. What a pleasant experience I had with this company. Greg, the owner, came out quickly upon receiving my call. He brought samples, and did measurements and gave us a price immediately and order blinds. Kevin, the installer, came as soon as the blinds arrived. He was very professional. We had a great experience with Lookout Blinds & Shutters. In the initial consultation, Greg made recommendations for the framing of our shutters to work with our tilt in windows (that also aren’t evenly squared). While we waited for the materials to be ordered, he kept in communication to let us know the status and manage timeline expectations. Once the materials were in, they offered to start installation that same day. There were some challenges due to the unevenness of our windows, and the installer came back over the weekend to continue the installation. We’re extremely pleased with how they turned out. We’ve found it challenging in this area to find home service businesses that provide good service and communication, but I’m happy to say Lookout Blinds & Shutters is one of the exceptions. We highly recommend!

With only living in Myrtle Beach for two years, I did not know who to contact for quality shades for our new home in Arrowhead. I am so happy with the quality and service from Lookout! We moved into a brand new house with absolutely no blinds, with two little kids used to complete darkness for naps! The first custom place I called said it would be 3 weeks before they could give me an estimate, but Greg from Lookout was at our house the next day. We ordered custom blinds that fit perfectly. They took 2 weeks to come in but they were specially cut for us, so no way around that. The day after they came in, Greg and his partner were at our house installing! We had pretty much the entire house done, 20+ windows, and two were missing pieces. As soon as they came back in stock (just a few days), Greg was over putting them in. Then I had two windows where I felt the blinds were too short. I voiced my concern to Greg's partner, and Greg was over the next day changing them around so they fit correctly. All in all, we got really high quality blinds and shades that all fit perfectly. I am very happy and would definitely use Lookout again.

Greg installed shutters in my OIB beach house on all the French doors. The results were AMAZING. The shutters offered a huge improvement over the wooden mini blinds they replaced. They dress up the room and they don't come loose and swing wildly around every time someone opens and shuts the door. My only regret is that I did not do this sooner. Greg was great to work with - friendly and professional. If you are looking for high quality at a reasonable price in the Myrtle Beach/Brunswick County area, I would give Lookout Blinds (Greg) a call!
